Saint Lucy Roundtable Coordinator: Sir Knight Andrew P. Lippo
“Knights have nothing less than a moral obligation to offer every eligible Catholic man the opportunity and the privilege of membership in our Order. Also, we must have a Knights of Columbus presence in every parish.” Those were the words of Supreme Knight Carl A. Anderson as he addressed his first meeting of state deputies.
A Knights of Columbus presence may be established in one of two ways: by the institution of a new council or by the establishment of a Parish Roundtable. Through the Roundtable, each council works closely with the pastor of each parish to support his mission.
Saint Lucy Parish Roundtable
The Saint Lucy Parish Roundtable was established on July 1, 2013 in response to the collaboration of Saint Lucy Parish and Saint Monica Parish as part of the Archdiocesan “Disciples in Mission” Pastoral Plan to bring about the New Evangelization in the Archdiocese of Boston. The goal of the roundtable is to attract a large group of men from Saint Lucy Parish united in Columbianism with a goal of supporting and engaging our council in the life of Saint Lucy Parish. We hope to run parish specific programming and service projects as we look to engage the men of the parish in the principles of our order: Unity, Fraternity, Charity and Patriotism as we look to build the Kingdom of God here in Methuen.
